Kolkata hotel fire: 9 dead, several injured in massive blaze at Mirza Ghalib Street in West Bengal

A massive fire in central Kolkata killed nine Bangladeshi nationals. Six others were injured in the blaze which occurred early this morning. Separately, eight people died in a hotel fire in Tarapith. The Tarapith incident was reportedly caused by a short circuit. Authorities are investigating both tragic incidents and questioning hotel operators.
